Choir & Special Music

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

 

At Hillside Park Baptist Church we seek to edify the Lord and welcome the Holy Spirit into our Worship Services with Traditional Hymns and Southern Gospel Music. We have a wide range of talent represented at our church through our music program. We have several piano players, guitar players, a drummer and several solo, duet, trio and quartet singers. We have a choir that consist of approximately 50 members. We have choir practice on the first and fourth Sunday of each month. On the fifth Sunday of the month we have a time of special music that spotlights the musical and singing talents within the church.

 

We have a Sound Room that consist of five dedicated members that work hand in hand with the music program. They ensure that every note and word sung and spoken can be clearly heard and understood with crisp dictation and enriching tones. We have two screens that are controlled from the Sound Room that the Sound Technician can broadcast announcements, the title and Scripture location of the sermon. Each service is live broadcast through our website so our services can be viewed worldwide.
